Spanish fashion designer Gema Nicolás, is known for her elegant and refined taste. She was lucky enough to inherit her parents’ interest, passion and love for fashion as they both worked in the textile industry. From a very early age, she was introduced to fabrics, patterns and embroidery, until she finally relented and joined the fashion industry and lucky for us ladies, she did. The sheer originality of every single collection Gema produces for the Cabotine and Zeila Collection, is an inspiration to us, with its wide colour palette combined with new and evoking designs and luxurious fabrics. It is easy to see her Spanish influence and passion radiate from some garments while others look are more subtle, sophisticated and classic but we can all agree that the Cabotine and Zeila Collection’s, which are part of the GN Design Group, a family run business, who have been making occasion and bridal wear for many years, is a fashion designing force to be reckoned with.

Gema uses exquisite fabrics like Georgette and silk tulle, and she also loves the delicacy of Chantilly but one thing is for sure, a fantastic range and variety of fine textures, beauty and perfection can be seen year after year. It is clear to see the sheer amount of passion and Mediterranean influence in the outfits.

Both collections simply excel at creating not only the classic cut dress and jacket look for a mother of the bride or groom which we are used to, oh no!!! They also work with vibrant and bold prints, intricate lace detailing and also plain fabrics, to create feminine and elegant outfits, the outfit every Mother of the Bride and Groom love and lucky for us, Cabotine and Zeila pay very close attention to what we real women want.
